  • 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 box Rice-A-Roni (chicken flavor)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with another cream soup if not a fan of mushrooms.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine your shredded chicken with both soups, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Prepare the Rice-A-Roni according to package instructions. Fold the fluffy Rice-A-Roni gently into your chicken mixture.
  4. Add in the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Pop it in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and beautifully golden on top.
  2. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving to avoid any eager burns.
