  • 1 lb ground beef Browned until fully cooked
  • 2 cups hash browns (frozen or fresh) Fresh hash browns can enhance the texture
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice; consider a mix with mozzarella
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk Used for creaminess

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s fully cooked, then drain the excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, hash browns, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden edges.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers tightly covered in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze portions in airtight containers for 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven covered with foil.
