Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the slice of bread directly in the air fryer basket.
- Crack the egg on top of the bread, keeping the yolk centered.
- Season with a pinch of salt and a few cracks of fresh pepper.
- Add the slice of cheese on top of the egg.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, keeping an eye on the cooking to preference.
- Remove from the air fryer, add your favorite toppings, and serve hot.

Notes
For variations, swap the bread for a bagel, try different cheeses, or add fresh herbs. This dish can also be made in the oven at 375°F for 10-15 minutes.
