  • 1 jar Dill pickles (or any pickles of your choice) You can use bread-and-butter pickles or even carrot sticks as alternatives.
Coating Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour For a gluten-free version, swap with a gluten-free blend.
  • 1 large Egg Beaten.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
For Cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the pickles into spears or rounds, depending on your preference.
  3. In one bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, and your chosen seasonings.
  4. In another bowl, beat an egg.
  5. In a third bowl, pour your breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture first, then the egg, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs.
  7. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray them with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden and perfectly crispy.
  2. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For an extra kick, sprinkle cayenne pepper or paprika into your breadcrumb mixture. Ensure you don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for maximum crispiness.
