  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds a mild smokiness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese For topping, adds creaminess.
  • 1 cup cooked rice Can use leftover rice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in mixed vegetables, diced tomatoes (with the juice), beef broth, garlic powder, paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix everything until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
