Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey Lean protein
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice or quinoa Both work beautifully
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli Fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers Any color preferred
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions For garnish
Bang Bang Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Or Greek yogurt for a lighter touch
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste To enhance flavors

Method

Cooking the Turkey
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey. Use a spatula to break it up as it cooks, stirring until browned and fully cooked through. Season it with salt, pepper, and garlic powder as it sizzles.
Making the Bang Bang Sauce
  1. While the turkey is cooking, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and soy sauce in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Layering the Bowls
  1. In individual serving bowls, start layering the cooked brown rice or quinoa, followed by the browned ground turkey. Then add the steamed broccoli and diced bell peppers.
Drizzling and Garnishing
  1. Generously drizzle the bang bang sauce over the top, then garnish with fresh green onions.
Serving
  1. Serve the bowls warm and enjoy.
