  • 1 lb Beef sirloin, thinly sliced Can substitute with chicken or tofu
  • 2 medium Onions, sliced
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, grated Fresh ginger recommended
  • 4 cups Rice or noodles, cooked For serving
  • 1 tbsp Oil for sautéing Any cooking oil will work
Optional Additions
  • 1 cup Bell peppers or snap peas, sliced Add for color and nutrition

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Thinly slice the beef sirloin and onions for even cooking.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Toss in the onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger, sautéing until the onions are caramelized and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring well to combine all flavors.
  4. Serve the stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.
