Ingredients
  

For the Quesadillas
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey, chicken, or lentils.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American) Experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped Can substitute with jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste Generously season the beef.
  • Oil for frying Use for cooking the quesadillas.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season it generously with salt and pepper.
  2. While the beef cooks, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and vinegar for your special Big Mac sauce. Set this aside.
  3. Once the beef is browned, take your tortillas and on one half of each, layer the cooked beef, a sprinkle of cheese, pickles, and onions.
  4. Fold the tortillas in half like a taco.
Cooking
  1. In a clean skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
  2. Place the quesadilla in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes until it’s golden brown and crispy. Flip and repeat on the other side.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with that delectable Big Mac sauce for dipping.

Notes
