Preparation
- Grease the baking dish generously with butter.
- Tear the French bread into bite-sized pieces and spread half in the bottom of the dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour half of the egg mixture over the first layer of bread and let it soak for a few minutes.
- Dollop bits of cream cheese and sprinkle blueberries evenly over the surface.
- Add the remaining bread pieces on top, gently pressing them down.
- Pour the remaining egg mixture over all, ensuring every piece of bread is soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or bake immediately at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes until puffed and golden.
