  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation
  1. Start by melting the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until it turns golden brown.
  2. Remove the browned butter from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well.
  4. Add the warm, browned butter along with the vanilla extract and salt to the sugar mixture. Stir until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, allowing them to melt into the mixture.
  6. Pour the fudge mixture into a lined 9x9 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
