Preparation
- In a small bowl, stir together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the spice mix.
- Wash and cut the potatoes into chips, then pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the chips with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the spice mix, ensuring everything is well-coated.
Cooking
- Bake the chips on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 30-40 minutes, or air fry for about 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Meanwhile, heat the remaining olive oil in a frying pan, add the beef mince, and cook until browned. Sprinkle in the remaining spice mix and cook until the moisture evaporates.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and the additional garlic powder and smoked paprika to create the burger sauce.
Assembly
- Assemble the Burger Bowls by placing a generous portion of potatoes in each bowl, followed by shredded lettuce, beef, cheese, and pickles.
- Drizzle the burger sauce on top to finish.
