- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Ensure it's fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
 - Introduce the chopped onion, diced carrots, diced celery, and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables soften, about 5 minutes.
 - Pour in the beef broth and water, then stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
 - Bring the mixture to a boil, and add your chosen pasta. Cook it according to the package instructions until al dente.
 - If using spinach or kale, stir it in during the last few minutes of cooking until wilted.
 - Adjust seasonings as needed, and serve hot!
