- Heat a little olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
 - Add sliced Cajun sausage and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
 - Sauté diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic until soft, about 3 to 5 minutes.
 - Stir in Cajun seasoning and mix well with the sautéed vegetables.
 - Add pasta and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
 - Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until pasta is cooked al dente.
 - Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheese until cheese is melted and well combined.
 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
