  • 1 lb ground beef You can use turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to swap cheddar for your favorite cheese.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Optional, but recommended for added flavor.
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Grease a 9-inch pie dish and evenly spread the beef mixture in the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and flour until smooth.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the beef and cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  2. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
