  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced fresh is best
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 1 lemon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season your chicken. Generously sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the skillet. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Brown the chicken. Carefully add the chicken breasts, cooking until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Cooking
  1. Sauté the garlic. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant — be careful not to burn it.
  2. Add the liquids. Pour in lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir until combined.
  3. Simmer the chicken. Return chicken to the skillet and let simmer until cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Garnish and serve. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, and serve with your favorite sides.
