Ingredients

Chicken and sauce ingredients
  • 4 pieces chicken fillets Can substitute with chicken thighs for more flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For a different flavor, try using smoked Gouda
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Watch carefully to avoid burning
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes Add more for extra spiciness
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to serve Crispy fries For serving with chicken

Method

Cooking Chicken Fillets
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper before adding them to the pan.
  2. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté them gently until the garlic becomes fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream, allowing it to come to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until it melts into the cream, thickening into a beautiful sauce.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure each fillet gets generously coated with that creamy goodness. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  2. Serve the chicken fillets drizzled with creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce over crispy fries for a complete comfort food plate!
