- In a large skillet, cook the slices of chicken sausage over medium heat until they’re beautifully browned, about 5–7 minutes. Remove the sausage and set it aside.
- Add a bit of oil if needed, then add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until fragrant and the onion is translucent, about 2–3 minutes.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and cook until slightly tender, around 3–4 minutes.
- Add the orzo pasta and chicken broth, stir, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cover and cook for about 10–12 minutes until orzo is tender and most broth is absorbed.
- Stir in the cooked sausage, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
