- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced chicken sausage until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the broccoli florets and soften slightly for a couple of minutes.
- Add the orzo pasta and pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender and broth is absorbed.
- Return the chicken sausage to the skillet and mix gently. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
