Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, cook the chicken sausage slices over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli florets and cook until slightly tender, about 4 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the orzo pasta and pour in the chicken broth. Bring everything to a simmer.
  2. Cover the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the orzo is cooked and has absorbed most of the broth.
  3. Add the cooked chicken sausage back to the pan, mix well, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
