Preparation
- In a large skillet, cook the chicken sausage slices over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook until slightly tender, about 4 minutes.
Cooking
- Stir in the orzo pasta and pour in the chicken broth. Bring everything to a simmer.
- Cover the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the orzo is cooked and has absorbed most of the broth.
- Add the cooked chicken sausage back to the pan, mix well, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
