- Combine the soy sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Add the flank steak to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced ginger and garlic, then sliced bell peppers. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until peppers begin to soften.
- Return the steak to the skillet, pour in the soy sauce mixture, and stir everything together until the sauce thickens.
- Season with sugar, salt, and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
Serving
- Serve hot over rice or noodles. Optionally, top with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
