  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk Almond milk can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon-sugar mixture
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar until evenly combined.
Baking
  1. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan in layers, alternating with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
  1. Allow the bread to cool slightly before pulling apart and serving.
