Ingredients
  

For the Pasta and Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • 12 oz Pasta (fettuccine or linguine) Cook according to package instructions.
For the Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter For sautéing the garlic.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced; be careful not to overcook.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream.
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Fresh herbs (parsley and thyme) Chopped; fresh herbs enhance the dish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning to preference.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  2. Add chicken to the skillet and sauté until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Sauce and Combining
  1. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring to combine with the remaining butter and garlic.
  2. Return sliced chicken to the pan and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything to coat in the sauce.
  3. Stir in fresh herbs, adjust seasoning if necessary, and serve immediately.
