  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth Substitutes like chicken or vegetable broth can be used.
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning Adjust according to taste.

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta shells in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onions and minced garlic for about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. Add beef broth and Italian seasoning to the skillet, and let the mixture simmer for around 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer on low heat for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve
  1. Fold in the cooked pasta shells, ensuring they are well-coated in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with extra Italian seasoning.
