  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing the chicken.

  • 1 cup chicken broth Used for making the sauce.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Boil a pot of salted water, add the fettuccine, and cook according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. Generously coat the chicken breasts in Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the seasoned chicken, and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
Combining Everything
  1. Toss the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken into the skillet, ensuring everything is well-coated in the sauce.
  2. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
