Ingredients
  

Pasta and Beef
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef use lean ground beef for less grease
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream or substitute with half and half for a lighter version
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced freshly minced for best flavor
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs like basil and oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain it and set it aside.
Preparing the Beef
  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
Making the Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  2. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian herbs. Mix well.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat each noodle in the creamy sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs.
