  • 2 pieces chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

Method
 

Cooking Method
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced chicken sausage, cooking until browned and flavorful.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the orzo pasta and chicken broth, bringing it to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes or until the orzo is tender.
  6. Fold in the broccoli florets in the last couple of minutes to steam.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in the parmesan cheese until melted, and season with salt and pepper.
