- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until they are softened and fragrant.
- Season the chicken drumsticks generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Place them in the skillet and brown them well on all sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth, cover the skillet, and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes. This helps the chicken become tender and flavorful.
- Remove the lid and stir in the heavy cream. Continue cooking for another 10 to 15 minutes, watching as the sauce thickens and clings beautifully to the chicken.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving for that extra pop of color and freshness.
