Preparation
- Start by bringing the water, vegetable oil, and a pinch of salt to a boil in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the flour until a smooth ball forms.
- Allow the dough to cool slightly before transferring it to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Cooking
- Pipe small bite-sized pieces onto a parchment-lined tray.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the churro bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, or until they’re a perfect golden brown.
- While the churro bites are cooking, mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for dusting.
- Once done, melt the butter and brush it over the hot churro bites, then toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve warm for the best experience!
Notes
These churro bites can be served with chocolate sauce or vanilla ice cream for dipping. For storage, let them cool completely before placing in an airtight container. They can keep at room temperature for a couple of days or be frozen after cooking.
