  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Choose high-quality chicken for best flavor
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs may be used for extra crunch
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can be adjusted for taste
  • to taste none Salt Use sea salt for better flavor
  • to taste none Pepper Freshly ground preferred
For Assembly
  • 4 slices of bread Ciabatta or sourdough can be used for different flavors
  • 4 tablespoons Caesar dressing Choose a quality dressing for best results
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped Fresh is ideal
  • optional none sliced tomatoes and bacon Customize as desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly for even coating.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and crispy.
  2. While the chicken bakes, toast the bread slices until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Spread Caesar dressing evenly on each slice of bread.
  2. On two slices, layer the crispy chicken, chopped Romaine lettuce, and optional toppings.
  3. Top with the remaining bread, slice in half if desired, and serve while hot.
