Preparation
- Spray your slow cooker with olive oil.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer.
- Pour the marinara sauce and sprinkle the spices over the top of the chicken.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to LOW for about 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using forks and return it to the crockpot, mixing it with the sauce.
- Add the tortellini, mozzarella, and heavy cream, stirring well to combine.
- Cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes.
- Stir in the baby spinach and let it cook for 10 more minutes.
- Finish by adding the grated Parmesan cheese, taste, and adjust the seasoning as needed.
