Cooking Essentials
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • to taste chopped fresh parsley for garnish Optional - adds color and flavor.

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they are softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the ground beef, cooking until it’s evenly browned, and break it apart with a spatula.
  4. Toss in the halved baby potatoes, seasoning them generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Pour in the beef broth (or water), bringing everything to a gentle simmer.
  6. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, allowing the potatoes to become tender.
  7. Once tender, remove the lid and occasionally stir while cooking until most of the liquid evaporates.
  8. Before serving, garnish with chopped parsley for that pop of color.
