- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, if using. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the broccoli mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
- Serve warm, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
