Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, melt the butter. Once fully melted, mix it with the eggs and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just blended. Be careful not to overmix!
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly to distribute them throughout the batter.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set while the centers remain soft.
