Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Minute Rice
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best.
  • 12–16 oz Extra Large Shrimp, peeled & deveined Frozen shrimp can be used if thawed.
  • ¼ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Skim Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Method
 

Cooking Rice
  1. Follow the package directions for 1 cup of Minute Rice and set it aside while you prepare the other ingredients.
Making Garlic Butter
  1. In a skillet set over medium heat, melt the 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter and add minced garlic.
  2. Let it sizzle for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant but not burnt.
Cooking Shrimp
  1. Toss in the peeled and deveined shrimp and sauté for about 2 minutes until pink and opaque.
Combining Rice and Shrimp
  1. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix everything thoroughly.
Finishing Touch
  1. Stir in shredded parmesan cheese and skim milk, then season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes until creamy.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Sprinkle extra parmesan and fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes
