  1. Begin by cooking the tortellini according to package instructions, typically 2-4 minutes for fresh tortellini.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, allowing the rich aroma to waft through the kitchen.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until mixed smooth.
  6. Add the cooked tortellini and toss until evenly coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
