Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for about 5 minutes, just until they’re tender-crisp.
- Drain the beans and set them aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Gently fold in the blanched green beans until they’re all coated.
- Transfer this mixture to your favorite baking dish and generously sprinkle the crispy fried onions on top.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
