Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Coconut aminos can be used for Whole30 compliance.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust based on heat preference.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
For the skewers
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before grilling.

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the shrimp to your marinade and toss gently to ensure each piece is coated. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated shrimp onto your skewers, being careful not to crowd them.
  3. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Once done, remove them from the grill and enjoy immediately.
