  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened for easier mixing
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with pepper jack for spice
  • 1 cup salsa Choose your favorite type
  • 1 can black beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn Frozen or canned works
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, black beans, and corn until evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve with tortilla chips.

Notes
