For the sandwich
  • 2 slices slices of bread (your preference) Sourdough or whole grain adds nice texture.
  • 1-2 slices slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite) Choose cheese that melts well.
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced Make sure the banana is ripe for sweetness.
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey Adjust amount based on sweetness preference.
  • to taste Butter or oil for grilling Butter gives a richer flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a generous pat of butter or a drizzle of oil.
  2. Place one slice of your chosen bread in the skillet.
  3. Add the cheese on top, allowing it to start melting into the bread.
  4. Layer the banana slices over the cheese and drizzle honey on top.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread to form your sandwich.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown and crispy, then flip and continue cooking until the cheese is oozing.
  7. Remove from heat, cut the sandwich in half, and serve warm.
