  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Frozen shrimp can be used, just thaw completely before cooking.
  • 1/4 cup honey Can adjust for sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Ensure it's hot but not smoking for a good sear.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Mixed with water for thickening.
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Chopped green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch mixed with water until combined.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Add the shrimp to the hot skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink.
  3. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the shrimp.
  4. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Serving
  1. Top with chopped green onions for garnish and serve immediately.
