Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Base
  • 1 box brownie mix Use your favorite brand
  • 2 large eggs For the brownie mixture
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Bring to room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs Add one at a time
  • 1 cup sour cream
Toppings
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce Warmed before serving
  • to taste whipped cream For topping
  • as needed maraschino cherries For decoration
  • as needed chocolate chunks or shavings For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until blended.
  3. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing it evenly across the bottom.
Cheesecake Filling
  1. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in sour cream until fully combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the springform pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-55 minutes, until the center is set.
  2. Allow to cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serving
  1. Warm hot fudge sauce and drizzle generously over each slice when serving.
  2. Top with whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and chocolate chunks.
