- Toss in the diced onions and bell peppers, sautéing them until they’re softened and fragrant—about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for another minute.
- Add the diced chicken and sliced sausage, cooking until browned; about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning, stirring well.
- Once it comes to a lively boil, stir in the pasta.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, until the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Fold in the shrimp and cook for another 5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
