Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cooking
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, carefully remove the foil and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top, letting it melt beautifully while baking uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Once golden and bubbly, let it cool slightly before serving.
