- Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Stir in the salt, ground white pepper, ranch seasoning, and half of the cayenne.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the shredded cheese until it melts into a rich sauce.
