  • 1 box Vanilla pudding mix Use according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups Milk Almond milk can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 cups Whipped cream For topping; can substitute with coconut cream.
  • 4 large Ripe bananas Use firm bananas to prevent mushiness.
  • 1 box Nilla wafers Any plain vanilla cookie can be substituted.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package instructions.
  2. In a large serving dish, lay down a foundation of Nilla wafers evenly.
  3. Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the wafers.
  4. Pour a layer of the freshly made vanilla pudding over the bananas.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  6. Pipe or dollop whipped cream over the top, if desired.
  7. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
