  • 1 cup pretzel bites Mini pretzel twists can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 cup caramel candies Ensure they are the meltable type.
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream Allow to sit at room temperature for best mixing.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Dark chocolate is preferred for a rich flavor.
  • to taste flaky sea salt Sprinkle generously on top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, gently heat the caramel candies and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until melted and smooth.
  2. Dip each pretzel bite into the warm caramel mixture to coat them generously.
  3. Place the caramel-coated pretzel bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in increments of 30 seconds, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Dip each caramel-coated pretzel bite into the melted chocolate and return them to the baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before the chocolate sets.
Setting and Serving
  1. Refrigerate the pretzel bites until fully set, about 30 minutes to an hour.
  2. Serve or package them up for gifting.
