- Toss in the minced garlic and chopped onion; sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant and the onion turns translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer.
Cooking
- Add the pasta, stir gently, cover, and allow it to simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally until al dente.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts, then add the shredded cheddar or mozzarella.
- Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, if using.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
