Preparation
- Begin by greasing a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Cut the bread into cubes and layer half of them evenly across the bottom of your dish.
- Spread the softened cream cheese over the bread cubes.
- Sprinkle half of the blueberries on top.
- Layer the remaining bread cubes over the blueberries, followed by the rest of the berries.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and blueberries.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden and the custard is set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
