Main Ingredients
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) A mix can be used for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices Other toppings such as bell peppers or mushrooms can be used.
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce For dipping.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional, but recommended for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into an even layer.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over the dough, followed by your choice of toppings.
  4. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  5. With a sharp knife, slice the log into bite-sized pieces and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if using.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
