Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, rosemary, orange zest, orange juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels and rub the olive oil mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
- Stuff the turkey cavity with onion quarters.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
Cooking
- Roast the turkey for about 13-15 minutes per pound, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Baste the turkey occasionally with pan juices.
- Once the turkey is done, let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving and serving.
